Anima
A wall sculpture by Eva Stöflin
Anima is a memorial to the guardian of the wilderness.
Lovely like the moon, seen through the eyes of a child, but honest like a wound in the flesh.
A symbol of fertility, change, and the rhythm of life and death.
Interdisciplinary work undergoing various processes of creation, transformation, and decay. Plant elements collected from the ground were first made into a face mask, then into a costume, including shoulder and neck jewelry, a top, and a skirt, and finally composed and sewn onto a linen canvas, with the possibility of a complete return to nature through composting.
