Eva Stöflin is an independent artist and designer, born in Villach and based in Graz, Austria.

Her work spans graphic design, illustration, photography, fashion and textile design. She combines conceptual design with hands-on craftsmanship, working on both visual communication projects and independent artistic work.

A particular focus of her practice lies in fashion and costume design. After completing her training as a master craftswoman in women's tailoring, she established herself as an independent fashion designer in Vienna and founded the fashion label Crepaldis, for which she developed her own collections in the premium segment. She also created costumes for Life Ball and music videos, as well as elaborate headpieces for Royal Ascot in the United Kingdom. Her experience ranges from traditional pattern cutting and garment construction to experimental costume and material-based work.
In graphic and visual design, she works on corporate identities, illustrations, flyers and other print media. Her photographic work spans portraiture, fashion, product and fine art photography. Film and audiovisual media are also part of her practice. For the performance film El Cultivo de la Mente (2025), she was responsible for cinematography and visual composition. The film was presented as part of the 2026 Ars Electronica Festival. She also brings experience in the organisational coordination and implementation of cultural projects.
Alongside her applied design work, she develops independent artistic projects exploring materiality, transience and transformation. Combining traditional craft techniques with experimental approaches, she investigates the possibilities of transforming organic materials into new creative contexts. Her work encompasses textile and sculptural forms, as well as photographic and interdisciplinary projects.
After completing her master craft training in women's tailoring and a course in media design at Fotoschule Wien, she moved to Linz, where she studied Product Design and Technical Communication at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, graduating in 2022. Extended stays abroad have shaped her artistic development and her engagement with nature and materials. She is now based in Graz, working independently and collaborating with Georgi Sarkezi as part of the artist duo Blüten & Papaya.
