Spätschicht sees itself as a growing organism with a vision of contributing to artistic and cultural diversity in Linz. The production of progressive formats, such as the talk show LINZEST 3000, in which invited guests from the Linz art and culture scene are interviewed and then present their work, is intended to encourage cooperation and networking.
LINZEST 3000 - Episode 4
Dragcula
A vampire dance collective led by Damian Cortes Alberti settles in for a residency at the Raumschiff on Pfarrplatz in Linz. The Spätschicht crew attempts to immerse themselves in the DRAG-CULA universe: but why is no one there? Reporter Jakob Hofbauer peeks through the shop windows. Inside, the collective celebrates colorful and dark experiments, with leader Damian guiding us through the chambers. Also joining the party: another sweet transvestite—Mickey the Dancer! We recognize that face, don't we? In Episode 4 we accompany an original troupe of artists as they research their queer performance “Drag-Cula.”
